Smart Switch Setup

Prerequisite:

1. Install the Kamonk App on your mobile.

2. Make sure mobile Bluetooth is turned on & connected to your home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, both mobile and Smart Touch Switch are under the same network.
4 MBPS or Higher internet speed required Signal stregth required -70dbm or more.

3. Please note below, Blue LED in the centre indicates: - If blinking - Pairing mode on. - If stable - not paired - If off- already paired.

4. If Blue LED in the centre is blinking skip this step. Long touch any switch or fan for 20 seconds or until LED is blinking continuously.

5. Open the Kamonk App, Tap on "+" on top right.

6. Tap on "Go to add"

7. Tap on "+"
8. Enter and confirm your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi ID & password.Your device has been added. You may change its name.

Smart Switch Installation

1. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
2. Keep the device away from water, damp or hot environment.

- Turn off the power supply before carrying out any electrical installation work.
- Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
- Insert the module into the junction box.
- Connect the power supply and follow Smart Touch Switch module instructions.

ONLINE OPERATION MODE

*Non-essential information for installation

(A) In-Home

- All cloud features such as the schedule, timer, and scenes will work in online mode.

-Your phone and the smart switch connect to the 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi, which is connected to the cloud.

(B) Out of Home

- All cloud features such as the schedule, timer, and smart scenes will work.

-If you're out of your house, your phone will connect itself to the
cloud and send a command.

-The cloud will transfer this command to the router at your house and then the 2.4Ghz router will relay it over to the smart switch.

OFFLINE OPERATION MODE

(NOT RECOMMENDED)

- Switch set-up needs to be done with active 2.4GHz Wi-Fi

(A) Local Area Wi-Fi Network

In offline mode, you can only turn the switch on/off. - Cloud functionalities like schedules, fimers, and smart scenes will not be available.

- In this scenario, your phone and the switch are both
connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi but not to the cloud.

- This works both for iOS and Android devices.

(B) Bluetooth Operation Mode

- Cloud functionalities like schedules, timers, and smart scenes will not be available in Bluetooth operation mode. - You can only turn the switch on/off, and this is only possible after the switch has already been connected to the Wi-Fi before.

-Your mobile data needs to be switched on along with the Bluetooth to connect to the smart switch.

- The Bluetooth pairing takes around 20 seconds, and the time it takes for your phone to relay the command to the switch will be longer compared to other modes.

- Multi-user function will not work, and one phone can control only one switch at a time. - The Bluetooth operation mode works only on Android devices and is unavailable on iOS.

We recommend using only the online modes to operate the smart switches as it offers better functionalities and is much smoother.
